I can carry a tune just fine...just have a lousy voice.  Maybe we

I can't quite get to my ornaments yet.  My niece and nephews get one
a year from me now.  I made them each a plastic canvas box to store
theirs in, so they can take them when they grow up and leave home,
and won't have to buy a lot of ornaments for their first tree.

We had a tornado in our neighborhood Thursday evening, lots of strong
winds before and after, and quarter-sized hail.  But no damage to speak
of, not even tree limbs.  It didn't touch down out here, just went over.
I'm glad--I'd hate to lose all my fabric and craft supply stashes!
We were out to dinner on the other side of town and heard the sirens,
but we were in a very big strong building and were very hungry, so we
continued to eat.  Our neighbors' kids were out playing and saw the
funnel cloud forming, and moving toward them, so they quick went in
and told their dad.  Don't think he believed them till the sirens
went off!    That will teach *him* to listen to his kids!!!

Yup, see you!  I tried to get on the other night and couldn't.
Yesterday I wound up tending the smoker.  We did brisket and some
turkey legs.  YUMMY!  I didn't get much crafting done but I did get
some fabric ironed.  Maybe I can work on blocks today.
