Many of you have responded to my frustration trying
to overcome damage to my BioStar M5ATD with win98se
legacy box, resulting from defragging a Quamtum
Bigfoot hard drive awhile ago. The final challenge
was the keyboard not being available so I could't
manage the BIOS.

Finally I tried a freeware program, "DIAGNOSE.exe"
which produces a printable file detailing all the
various stuffs that make a system, a system. I am
not sure how, but running it repaired the keyboard
problem. (The detail file was fb also 8-)

My thanks again to you all and I strongly suggest
you point your favorite internet browser to:

        www.freshdevices.com

and get a justincase copy of DIAGNOSE.EXE for your self.
They have some other sharewares that look interesting,
but I have no experience to relate about them yet.

Ciao, Ack.
