Shall I recap?
I applied like a month ago now. After about 2 weeks of total silence he sent
me
an email literally reading "How do you want to connect to get your
traffic".
replied and then haven't heard a thing since.
I've connected to his BBS and left him a message, I've Fido netmailed him,
I've
logged on to other Miragenet BBS's looking for him and I've repeatedly
internet
emailed him.
He hasn't even attempted to contact me other than to send me that single
sentence email.
I can understand software problems, but when I see him being so active in
promoting Miragenet (how many Miragenet ads are in this echo???) Obviously he
is up and running. Why would he solicit new nodes if he wasn't up and
running?
And while he's busy posting in here, would it kill him to respond to my
messages?
Even if he legitimately is having major problems, I've left him several ways
to
contact me. I think a small email letting me know that I'm worth talking to
isn't asknig too much.
If you know him personally then perhaps you can advise him on how his actions
are making Miragenet look. I'm sure I'm not the only one he's pissed off by
his
lack of response.
Anyhow, I think it's obvious that I've lost an impetus to join a network
whose
coordinator won't even respond to my application in any meaningful fashion,
never mind any follow up communication.
I'm just flabbergasted at how many communication attempts he can ignore.
Stunned, really. Can you blame me for feeling insulted?
Shrug...as you say...many nets out there...
