i'd possibly be willing to except for one major problem... i run multinode
FD on one/several machine... they all look to the same nodelist indicies
for their information... some of my nodes are POTS only while others are IP
only... i need the capability of using either/or in my setup... i need IP
info for the IP capable nodes in my setup and POTS info for the POTS
capable nodes in my setup...

currently, i am able to do this with some manual intervention and the
creation of two lists... one list is for the POTS capable nodes and the
other for the IP capable ones... these lists are processed and their
information is set as environment variables... then there is a PHONE
override placed in FDNODE.CTL for those fidonet nodes that points FD to the
environment variable...

the final result is that fidonet nodes with POTS and IP capabilies are
still contactable by both methods by my system(s)... those are that POTS
only are not contactable by my IP nodes and thus only my POTS nodes attempt
to dial them... the same for my IP side...

i will state, however, that more work and testing need be done with my
setup and i have very little time these days for much else than 12 hour
working days and sleep... and trying to keep up with fidonet and making
sure that certain history isn't rewritten when some see that they might
have such a chance O:)
