Dear Lee Ann,
    Trying needle tatting doesn't take  courage.  All it takes is a long
[dull] needle and some thread [knitcrosheen  works best for self training].
If you should fail, who's to know you even tried??????
   My problem comes when i try to make the second ring, it draws up in a
funny position.  Someday i am going to find a teacher.
