Worst Announcer                         

Award Description:

To be given to the commentator/announcer who makes the dumbest comments
while pushing his product. This person probably gets you to turn down the
TV when he/she is announcing. As of 1992, the difference between this and
colour commentator will be enforced.

HACK-MAN: I expect it to be a close race between Ross and Coach for Worst
Announcer.

PAUL ZOROVICH: Jim Ross.  How the mighty have fallen.

CRIMEFIGHTER:  Easy, the Coach.  In the weeks subbing for Jim Ross he did
a lousy job and didn't know the moves.

MICHAEL: 1st:  Jonathan Coachman.  Youıd think the WWE wouldıve started
coaching him after his first stint as Jim Rossı temporary replacement.

CHRIS BIRD: Although Jonathan Coachman is a terrible announcer by any
measure, he really got a good joke in when he started making fun of Jim
Ross's announcing style, because Ross is a pathetic shell of a once-great
announcer who deserves no love.

SCOTT CHRIST: I know no one else has seen him, but AWWL's Paco Zimmer is
really, really bad. Second to Jonathan Coachman, who seems like a nice guy
and all but he sucks. Third to Joey Styles because he can go piss up a
rope for all I care.

EMMA: There's got to be a loophole whereby I can vote for JR for all of
first, second & third!

THE CUBS FAN: The worst part about turning Coach heel, and there are a lot
of bad parts, but the worst part is all Coach can talk about on Heat
nowadays is how everything related to Coach The Heel. It's the kind of
stuff that might be amusing for four minute bits on RAW but gets old quick
when it's done an hour each week. Jim Ross is often not very good but will
get away with it till he decides he no longer wants the job.

RYAN FAULCONER: Jonathan Coachman is up there with the worst announcers of
all time thanks to his work in 2003.  JR is such a non-factor in the shows
he announces for that its not funny.  Chris Lovey does have inexperience
on his side but he really should be better than he is since he is the
booker of the promtion he announces for.  He is getting better though.
