Daryl,

Rather, he's teaching himself some rather advanced programming skills.
Michael ¨isn't an assembly programmer by nature. Doorway was written in
Pascal, but has ¨a lot of inline assembly, if I recall what Michael told me
correctly and ¨judging by his posts in other Pascal-oriented forums both
Fido and WWW that ¨I've seen.

It's not that he's not in a hurry, he's trying to learn how to make it work
¨with the newer operating systems. That in itself will take quite a while,
¨especially with the work load and family responsibilities (he's got
another ¨child in progress :).

I know you're not a programmer, so trust me when I say this-taking over
someone ¨else's very complicated code that is not commented and there's
parts that you ¨have no clue in the world what's going on (evidently
Marshall wasn't very ¨forthcoming with help) in the code, well-that takes a
while. ;)

Later,
Sean
