Fortunately, in this echo, humor is always topical.
DH> I can programme in 20 different computer languages and I bet you can't
I've _long_ since lost count of the number of programming languages I've
used, but only ONE of them gets discussed in this echo. (Well, I've
probably mentioned a few dozen others over the years, but only in
passing.)
If you want to brag in this echo, you need to do two things: 1) keep it
to C++, not 19 others. 2) back it up with some _really_ impressive code.
If you want to impress us, try posting a treatise about the support C++
provides for object oriented programming, and how it could be improved.
DH> P.S BTW which is better, 'Jink' or 'Sparky the Wonder Yak'?
You can't use either in this echo, so it doesn't really matter much.
IMO, claiming to be "Sparky the Wonder Yak" is roughly equivalent to
proclaiming "Hi, I have tapioca pudding where my brain should be.", to
anybody who'll listen. However, if it's what you want to do, I can't
(and won't try to) stop you as long as it's no in this echo where it's
against the rules.
DH> Reply to 'Jink' on all the Hamilton BBS'
In case you missed the fact, this is an international echo. I'm
replying to you from Colorado Spring, CO, USA. People are reading (and
being amused by) your message all over the world. It's doubtful that
many will make an international long distance call to send messages to
your local BBS.
    Later,
    Jerry.
