The better the OS the the less support you should have to need. When
I ran OS2 years ago it crashed only a fraction as much as Windows did. And
then
usually only when I did something stupid.

If I needed an OS for a mission critcal app I would avoid MS and go
with Linux or
OS2 if the required software would permit.
