  System(s).

and
  everyone else does not.

No, I didn't say I see it all the time, just a LOT. I don't know what
  causes it.

  >I'd not be surprised if the snap or AS/400 have problems. Windows =
2000

I don't have a problem on Win9x machines this way, it sends the
  notifications just fine.

  > You have no CD-ROM software?

Some of the PC's yes, some no, and not the same version on any.

  >These are CD-ROMs or CD-R/W?>

Both, but mostly CDRW. Even have a DVD and a DVDRW.

  >If the latter, don't you have software to burn CDs?

On the ones with rw, yes, but none of them have that active crud (tray =
icon
that asks you what to do when you put in a blank CD) or the direct cd =
type
  stuff.

  >For that matter, are you using inbox or non-inbox drivers

In box on all but one PC. (newer video card than what's in the box on =
my
main PC at home.) Supposedly certified though.

  >Again, there must be some reason why you claim to never see title =
changes

If I knew I'd tell you why. (and I doubt EVERYONE sees title changes, =
I
don't have that strange a config.)

That's not what i was describing -- you can move these icons that =
