Well, they can also view the echo on the web at 
http://fidonet.sensationcontent.com/echomail/othernets

There are a lot of echoes there...but this link saves them from even
having to see things like FIDONEWS and FN_SYSOP(Two very bad PR vehicles
for Fidonet).
