The incoming msgs hiatus was 4/6 to 4/10 here.  I'm hoping the echo will
return to life and get back to on-topic. (TECH, bir).

To be blunt, I think the postings to the TECH echo may have suffered
during recent weeks due to some of the recent off-topic postings here.
(Want me to tell you who posted them?)  Heck, Matt, if I wanted to
read pro and con  about a bunch of anti-US viewpoints on the current
US situation wrt Iraq, there are a lot of other places where I could
easily look, and I'd have thought us ordinary TECH users could
reasonably expect to be spared from that sort of posting here in the
"International TECH Echo".

I guess I'm being critical here.  Again, I hope the echo will return to
(on-topic) life.
