From: "Robert Comer"
We're talking three different problems here, the CD drive CD name is 100%,
the thing with the deleted icon still being there after you delete it
happens occasionally, and the net drive thing seems to happen most of the
time but not all of the time. (all of them are related to explorer
updating, but they are not the same problem.)

Robert claims that he sees all these problems 100% of the time on all of
his computers. If true, there must be something he does to all of his
computers that cause his problems that others don't have.

latter, are they WHQL certified? Again, there must be some reason why you
claim to never see title changes while everyone else does not.<<
Here's an idea although a remote possibility. I once had a floppy drive
that
would show the files on the first floppy you put in but after changing it
and doing a dir you would see the info from the first floppy not the
current
one. The problem was a bad floppy cable.
I wonder if a bad CDrom cable could cause something similar?
