If you are just starting with Delphi, I'd recommend reading the book "Delphi
2 Unleashed" by Charles Calvert (Sams Publishing)... it contains both the
beginning stuff and some more technical topics, such as the use of OLE
automation, the Games SDK (DirectX), the Win32 API, database development, and
more (it's 1400 pages). I have heard that a new revision is in the works that
includes the new version 3 features (which I don't know anything about, I
have version 2).
