Did you read past the first word of that message?  I was well aware that
there's a few API calls to dump out multiple characters, but that's still
not quite what I'm looking for.  I basically need to output characters
a few at a time (usually), unless I were to, as he said, write my own
screen output routines to replace VP's, and have them handle all cursor
movements and control codes, only outputting when I have no more text left
to parse for colour codes.  So unless VioShowBuf takes care of control
codes (CR, LF, BS, etc.), it's not the solution I'm looking for.  And that
doesn't stop to consider cursor movement codes, which prevent me from
outputting a series of characters at once (unless there are no such codes).

I guess the only solution is to write my own routines to handle the output,
which probably shouldn't be a deal I don't think, although a bit more
work than I was hoping for.
