I sensed your frustration with the "system"  which doesn't seem to be 
working very well in your case.  Rest assured that there are many many 
good and well-dedicated teachers who are in this job, not for the money, 
but for the love of what we do.  It is unfortunate that you have not 
found this to be true at the school your daughter attends.  But it does 
sound like you are making progress, both at home with Chelsea and at 
school with getting her the help and attention she both needs and 
deserves.
I think you may find in this echo that we sometimes vent our 
frustrations as teachers but that we are all very caring and we really 
do like kids..  :)
Keep up the good work on behalf of your daughter.  I really do 
appreciate your situation and I know that you can help make a difference 
for Chelsea.  Perhaps too you can bring to light some of the problems 
that seem to exist at your daughter's school.
