Hello, ALL.

In following www.techbargains.com over the past couple of days, it
appears that Circuit City made a boo-boo earlier this week, and let
stand concurrently both an $80 and a $60 rebate on WD 120 GB HDD.
Coupled with another $10 rebate. this could end up with purchase price
of a W-D 120GB drive for $10 after rebate,rebate, rebate.  Wooh! $160
plus tax out the door, and get back total $150 rebates later, later,
later.

Checking tonight, techbargains.com indicates that C-C will in fact
honor both the $80 and $60 rebates.  That is important, because there
was an earlier indication that the $60 rebate would no longer be
honored.  The 80 and 60 rebate certs both require submission of the
"original UPC - - - "  but it now seems that C-C has given up on that.

If anyone here is interested, I say don't depend on what I say, go to
www.techbargains.com and check into this.  It is a long screen, so be
sure and look back into the postings back to 4/23 and 4/24 or so.
There are 3 or 4 writeups about this particular situation.  One of
them indicated that the $60 rebate is now 'dead'.  Sounds like that has
been superseded.

At www.techbargains.com, older items have now scrolled offscreen, and
are viewable by clicking on the "recent news" or similar tab down at the
bottom left after the current screen has finally downloaded and been
scrolled-down through.

I dis-remember the ending dates of those rebate coupons which can be
printed from the internet.  The whole deal may turn into a pumpkin
tomorrow  (SAT) night.   I think that will probably be it.
