PE> 2. Use FAT instead of HPFS if at all possible.
DD> Isn't HPFS better when you have large clusters (or should I direct this
DD> question at Bob)?
Yes it is. The problems are:
1. If you're worried about the stability of OS/2, if you're all
FAT you can easily go back to DOS.
2. If your system crashes, you have to wait about 10 minutes for
HPFS to repair itself.
3. You can probably undelete under DOS if you have FAT.
4. You can have a 14 meg disk cache with FAT, only 2 meg with
HPFS.
PE> 4. Install dual-boot on your C drive if at all possible.
DD> I don't want to boot it from DOS
You do if you've stuffed up your OS/2 config. BFN. Paul.
