Hmmm.  That would be a cool use of that meter.  If all else fails, a voltage 
to frequency converter and a frequency counter/frequency to voltage converter 
would do the trick.  Of course, that wouldn't be anything that you would want 
to put "over the air" - it would be a "wire line" solution.
