Salespersons, bleck. I know what I want to buy when I walk into a
store.
I once had the ridiculous experience of standing around in a
computer store trying to get the attention of a salesperson, 3, but
they were engaged with window shoppers the whole time I was there,
about a half hour. I _was_ dressed in jeans however I also
had three grand in my pocket with an intent to purchasel
I left disgusted.

 Sounds right.

The higher end bare bones systems I was speaking of come with 350 -
 400 watt supplies.

You can always add a backplane board and increase that number.

Don't quite know what mines capable of as I hadn't yet hooked up the
stereo and the amplified speakers attached are inferior when not
powered up... no appropriate wall wart.

CA> btw: If you've got the HP working again try this music file I

It's working, just Win 3.1 instead of 98.
I had the money last month to buy the large drive just
wasn't ambulatory enough to walk the 600 yards round trip
to Circuit City from the bus stop.
Hope to make the trip a week from now.
