Food for thought there. I agree that a refuge where like can be
comfortable with like--applying to sex, ethnicity, etc.--is necessary.
But I think this should be a kind of social, voluntary kind of thing.
When it's actually a rigidly enforceable thing and it extends into a
professional area, you start limiting ideas and cutting into freedom of
association. There's a fine line there between camraderie and
restriction.
