I know I have not been to active here the last month or so with the move and
the building and everything else going on here... but I do want to let you
all know that I am still very much alive and kickin'!
I am going a bit slower at things out of necessity these days... seems I
spend the majority of my time going between doctor's appointments and test
these days... but usually take some quilting or other crafty things with me
to do in waiting rooms...
Since I have already in detail described the progress of my crafting studio
I won't go into that one again ... but to say that I am thrilled with the
ongoing progress would be an understatement... only having it finished and in
use will make me happier with it!!!.
We also had a very large Barn Shed put up for me for storage in our back
yard. I definitly needed that for my tractor and other larger crafting
supplies... like my 10' table that I use when laying out quilts and
stretching them... or for my knitting machine... so I have been spending
bits of time getting the barn painted when the weather permits... Of course I
painted it red and it will have white trim... I am working on the trim
now... got the base coat primer on the doors today... don't know that I will
get much more done today because it is just to hot and humid for me out
here.
My mini scrappy 9-patch quilt made from 1930 reproduction fabrics is done
except the bindings... and the bindings have to wait until I can unpack some
of my supplies... I know just what I want to use but can't get to it yet.
I am also doing another set of Wedding invitations with my RS's... I will
be doing 200 invitations and reception cards this time... I have the stamps
all made and waiting for my work space to be done before I start on them...
fortunately this wedding is not until next April so I have time to work on
them... The RS's are already made and waiting as is the paper... I can
hardly wait to get started on them though...
I also made up for myself another 40 stamp designs here recently and
mounted them... I have only had the opportunity to use a few of them so
far... again because of the building and such I am having to work around
things... and that makes it a bit difficult to do much of any crafting right
now... but I am still giving it a health whril!!!
As I am sitting here in all my current clutter of computers, quilting,
RS'ing and other crafting goodies in boxes I can't helpt but want to dig
right in... knowing that I must wait is a killer ... but when I do dig
in you all will be the first ones to know...
