Ah well, I've got things setup so that my pages should still work if you
don't have frames capability - although they won't be as much fun (then
again, these days even browsing them with Netscape won't be as much fun as
with Internet Explorer since I've added a few nice bells and whistles from
it's ActiveX system).

Tables are, depending on who you talk to, a method of presenting data in
tabular form or a layout tool.  In my case I'm using them to assist in
layout in a few places - for the AUST_AMIGA pages I'm particularly using
them to get (what I think is) a nice layout for the piccies in the 'rogues
gallery'.
