BW> upcoming version 2.20 release of the Blue Wave Offline Mail Reader. author
BW> George Hatchew has authorized me to post the following list of features.

BW> * When writing a NetMail reply, the reader now properly scans
BW> the message for the destination address (including checking the
BW> FMPT, INTL, MSGID, and origin lines). This should resolve almost
BW> all problems related to replying to point systems.
RS> ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
RS> Funny that, that just happens to be one of the most popular OLRs around.

RS> And this is describing BlueWave packets, its less than clear if
RS> that also applys to QWK packets when BlueWave is used to read them.

KR> it is easy, if you want to send netmail, get some
KR> software that allows you to do the job properly,

RS> Its even easier, tell poor old Keef that while he might well be a
RS> complete rabid FRZ about PPoint, many think its shit and wont use it.

KR> i dont give a shit who uses ppoint,

Funny, could have sworn I have seen a number of occasions where poor
old Keef has proclaimed to people using other stuff, particularly when
there is some blemish when using the other stuff, that if they used
PPoint they wouldnt be having those problems. Corse thats often been
followed by poor old Keef proceeding to fuck up himself, using PPoint,
which has tended to ruin his argument for it rather more than somewhat |-)

KR> christ, theres enough of it around.

RS> In your opinion. Presumably not in the opinion of those who
RS> use stuff like BlueRipple tho Keef. They appear to have noticed
RS> that its not actually a one sized fits all world out there.

KR> true, if you just want to read email, or send echomail, qwk
KR> readers are ok, if you want to send netmail, they stink.

Some do, some dont. And they presumably think that there are aspects
of PPoint that they feel stink too, so presumably its more a matter of
choosing which particular OLR stinks less in the areas you care about.
Which might just explain why the whole world aint using PPoint Keef.

KR> if some-one is a moderator or some other member of
KR> the fidocracy, and thereby need to send netmail,
KR> they should get some software capable of the job.

Or maybe they basically dont give a shit for what you
proclaim is the one true path to email salvation Keef.
