SH> A new Asian supermarket opened up below us in the old LCBO store.
SH> I've never seen such a selection of meats, everything from crayfish
SH> to turkey neck, chicken feet, all the good stuff!
SH> Not to mention the isles of rice and spices, sauce, etc. They also
SH> serve hot food (My daughter has tried it and said it was quite
SH> good and restaurant quality - even though she had to txt me and ask
SH> me how to eat a shrimp that still had the head attached).
SH> http://www.lucky-supermarket.com Not much of a web page yet
I found their Facebook Business page. It has a few pictures and
announcements. It looks very promising. You're a lucky guy.
We have a pretty good one here. It is owned by a Vietnamese family
who have a Filipino cashier and they started stocking Halal meats
including lamb and goat as soon as our Moslem population started to
grow after the Somalians arrived (from Toronto). They pack a lot
into 2500 sf. Even a Vietnamese lady from Montreal was impressed
with it when she moved here.
