"But wait...there's more!!!"
Many more additions to the list, that is...
"Gargoyles" had a lot in common with "Batman:the Animated Series" for
being deliberately patterned after the older show (Disney hired as
much of the "Batman" creative staff as they could get -- clearly an
admission that they didn't know exactly how to do a *real* comics-style
superhero toon with the people they had on hand). This also meant
similar casting methods, only more specifically tailored to the show's
target audience -- which led to an unusually strong representation of
Trek actors in their regular and guest casts.
I can also confirm Kate Mulgrew as the Red Claw in "Batman," a recurring
villainess who first appeared in the two-parter "The Cat and the Claw."
I can also fill in Malcolm McDowell's bit: he guest starred as Ra's Al
Ghul's son Arcady Duvall in "Showdown" (the Jonah Hex "Western"
episode); Other ST actors include Rene Auberjonois as Dr. March in "On
Leather Wings," which introduced Man-bat; John DeLancie appeared in a
minor role in "The Mechanic," which introduced Earl Cooper, creator of
the Batmobile (voiced by TWOK alumnus Paul Winfield, who also had an
important recurring role in "Gargoyles"); and Diana Muldaur, who
portrays Batman's physician, Dr. Leslie Thompkins.
Now, as for the name of Susie Plakson's role as the blue brontosauroid
neighbor who'd always poke her head through the Sinclairs' kitchen
window in "Dinosaurs," I'm a bit uncertain. I'm pretty certain it wasn't
"Marge," even though that name *does* remind one of another toon character
with a notably tubular and blue attribute associated with her head...
I believe it's definitely a name that begins with "M," and "Monica",
comes to mind, but I don't trust my memory on that one. I've seen all of
them, but I don't have any recorded, so I leave that one to the jury...
Likewise, I'm also not sure about whether Michael Dorn actually did
"Reboot" or not. There were only about 16 or so episodes shown in the
U.S., and I've seen most of those. However, "most" is not "all," because
there was some differences between how the show was handled by ABC and
the later syndication as part of Claster's "Power Pack." Worse, we're
outside the loop on more recent developments on "Reboot" as it's
apparently still in production and showing on YTV, the Canadian "youth
channel." I'll leave this one up to our Canadian jury, eh?
As for the rest, I'm entering the stuff I actually *do* have documented
from the recordings I have on hand, giving the billing as shown in the
credits.
Here's the list, with my amendments:
