HI Gail!
I have been sooooo busy around here that I don't know where to begin... When
I have energy I am using it to the fullest that I can assure you! I took a
few minutes today to do a bit of painting on my barn outdoors... but because
it is so hot and humid that came to a quick halt!!! I only was able to get a
primer coat on the trim on the doors... the rest will just have to wait I am
afraid .

I am soooo excited about the studio!!! The wall is up and Sandy's DH did an
excellent job on the wall... It is beautiful... I am still waiting for the
contractor to send me the contract for signing to do the cabinet work. I will
call him tomorrow if I do not get the paper work in the mail today to find
out what the hold up is. The cabinets should be in in about 2 weeks now. I
ordered 12 36"x36"x2" roll outs for the bottom base cupboards for my RS's and
there are 6 other drawers on the main wall and 4 on the short wall. I am
thrilled with how it is going to look. Here is a not quite to scale drawing
to give you an idea:

The stash cabinet is 96" x36" x24". The upper cabinets are all 45" x36" and
the base cabinets, except for the computer station are 36"x24" each... I can
hardly wait to get them in!!!! Of course I already have them filled in my
mind ! I will most likely add to the cabinets as I get more settled
in and see what I have to work with... but for now this work area will be
more than suficent to say the least... I will also have my glass top table in
here for my RS shadow box stuff and will most likely do most of my RS'ing on
the glass table so I don't mess up my cutting area... Needless to say I am
very excited....
Of course there are any number of other things in this room too... since It
will double as a guest room for overnighters... I have a sofa bed and my tv
set and vcr and such in here too... The sky lights are great too for
perfect lighting... and with the ceiling fan and air conditioning this room
is perfect... it is attached both to the kitchen and my bathroom so what more
do I need???? I can stay in here and never have to leave for anything if I
don't want to!!!! and I definitly have enough crafting supplies to keep me
busy for a very long time!!! I can hardly wait to begin decorating with my
own touch to these new walls and all... and I have plenty of ideas too!!!

Before you know it Gail you will be so use to your son being on his own you
will wonder why on earth you thought you were going to miss him... Oh there
are moments when I wonder about my girls and I figure no news is good news.
Both of them are on their own and have been now for a year or more... Only
Sarah has been here for a short visit since I moved. It really is what we
want for our children and a mark of a successful parent, to see their
children make it on their own!!!
And a craft room!!!! All for yourself... and I know once you get yourself
installed in there you will NEVER want to give it up for anything!!!! I am
sure you will find a space or make a space for everything you have and then
some... and if there is not a space... well just knock out a wall and make
space ...

The fabrics and paper supplies are of course biggies here too.... right now I
have paper supplies everywhere!!! and fabrics are stacked on top of every
empty spot... I have soooo many other crafting supplies that it is going to
be a challenge to sort through them and figure out just where and how they
will be arranged... of course I am still considering some peg boards for some
of them. I now just have to figure out the wall space correctly so I can
place the peg boards.... now that will be a challenge for me for sure!

This sounds very interesting to me... I believe I can follow what you are
describing... but could you send something to me either e-mail or snail
mail??? I think this is one that I would like to try my hand at... I have
not seen it done anywhere as of this time... but then I don't get out all
that much even here... and when I do get out here it is more to find my way
around than anything else ...
Now that I have talked your ear off I suppose I should go on to the
next message... seems there are about 100 messages or so here for me to go
over and see what the rest of the fine crafters here are up to!!!
