As it stands I just hang a cheap stereo off my sound card, both were salvaged discards and both stereos work. Fried the NEC Pentium by not following advise I'd gotten here soon enough checking for thermal grease, then too a few years ago fragged a Seagate 230 Meg. drive by putting an elbow into the monitor screen while handling the drive. The moment I felt the static on my arm I knew the drive was toast and plugging it back in confirmed the fact. --- MultiMail/PBellDOS v0.42* Origin: FidoTel & QWK on the Web! www.fidotel.com (1:275/311) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 275/311 10/345 106/1 2000 633/267 |
