No, not if you post the message to the object window. However, I think that
if you *send* the message, it will block the sending thread (in this case
the main thread). So you should always use WinPostMsg.

That is also possible, but starting a new thread has a "non-trivial
overhead" (according to IBM). It is probably better to have object
window threads for all the tasks your application will ever need to do, and
start them all at once at program start-up (like PMSHELL.EXE does, which
has more than 20 threads).
