I also remember her telling an adult about the proper hydration of
bread dough when she was barely a year old, "Tree flow. One wa.
Maybe more flow. Jes touch it. You will jes know."

Today she is an excellent all round cook. Most recently she has
been learning how to make Filipina dishes and is now better at it
than her MIL. Even Patrick admits it. Her source for recipes is
Pinterest! It's killing Facebook which killed Yahoo Group which
killed FIDO. The woman whose recipes she trusts has over 900,000
followers worldwide!

MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.06
 
      Title: Calderetta
 Categories: Filipino, Beef, Goat, Offal, Lamb
      Yield: 5 servings
 
    500 g  Beef round, cubed
    1/4 c  Vinegar
     10    Peppercorns, crushed
      1 ts Salt
      2 cl Garlic, crushed
    1/4 c  Oil
      1 c  Onion, sliced
    1/2 c  Tomato sauce
      2 c  Boiling water
      1 c  Red or green pepper, strips
      1    Bay leaf
      1    Dash of hot sauce
    1/3 c  Liver spread
 
  Marinate beef in mixture of vinegar, peppercorn, salt and crushed
  garlic for 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Fry pieces of beef in cooking oil. Add
  onions and saute until tender. Pour in tomato sauce and boiling
  water. Add the green pepper, bay leaf and hot sauce as desired.
  Cover and simmer until meat is tender. Blend in liver spread. Cook
  5 minutes moore.
