Oh, I see from the log that you were referring to another connect.
All I could see was MNP4 connects, I had no way of knowing those
bad ones were you testing out no-MNP.  It seems apparent that you
can not connect without MNP4 to my modem at 14400.  Could you try
calling me at 2400 (again) but this time without MNP4?  BTW, the
purpose of this is not to fix any bug in Netcomm, I'm just trying
to ascertain that there's no bug in Binkley 2.50.  If I can get
rid of that 3 second delay merely by changing modem settings, then
that proves that it isn't BTPE (also proves that it isn't COM.SYS
or OS/2).  I hope you will persist in the testing for the sake of
engineering.  Thanks + bye.  Paul.
