   I also have the grackles.  and they do come to the feeders and I have even 
seen them fight off the robins.!

   They clean out my 2! bird feeders in a day!  I have to watch them and 
sometimes go out in my swing to keep them away.  But I cannot do this all 
day.   It is a never ending circle!!!
