Where abouts? I live in Kingwood. I came here from Sacramento 2 years ago. While Houston doesn't get too terribly hot, it's pretty humid. I've survied 117F heat waves in Sac a time or two. And it's a DRY heat :P The other thing is that in California, summers pretty much meant clear skies and warm weather. Here in Houston, you can't ever plan a summer pool party because you just KNOW It's gonna rain. My first year here, it rained on the 4th of July! It NEVER does that in California! The wierd thing is that it also snows on Christmas Eve in Houston. It NEVER did that in California (unless you were in the Sierras).
