subject: Password file

Perhaps making a collosal error, Harry Oldenhuis said to Help
something about Password file
HO> I was wondering if sombody would know
HO> where novel creates the login file when you login to the system.
HO>
HO> When the system stops and you restart the computer Novel asks you for
HO> a password to get back into Novel.
If security is not an issue, don't use a password at all. Just have
a user with no password and that way "login " will
automatically log you in, each and every time. HO> I would like to delete
that file so that I can have automatic
HO> restart the connection with Novel.
HO> I run a BBs and I can do the first login with Batch files but not the
HO> second time I found out.
Something suspicous here, if it's the same batch file it should work
either way. make sure that after the power goes out you give the
novell serve enogh timeto reboot before logging in. Put a "choice"
command in your batch file with a 20 second delay or so before it
attempts to log in.
