TR> I'm baaack :-) You want I should do something?

We're having problems getting the NET640 gated TrapDoor echo around the
country. We've tried a number of things, and none of them have worked. If
you link up with TRAPDOOR from Alwyn, and then send it to Dave, it'll get
around the country. It still won't link me here, Kevin's system only
forwards off the areafix request to Dave, and doesn't seem to set it up
when the messages flow back from Dave.

But to keep Sydney and Melbourne in the TRAPDOOR messages, can you please
link it on from Alwyn's??!! :-)

TR> But where have all the Amigans gone?

That's below the belt, Roydhouse!

 TR> huh?

Well, those of us still left in Fidonet and still having amigas is a fast
diminishing number! :-(

We were doing 300-400 messages a week here in better times. It's lucky to
be 10% of that now. Commodore going broke certainly didn't help, I must
add! And when even Dac sold his Amiga the writing was on the wall! That
writing is now up to a few thousand words....

  Mea Culpa,
 Peter Deane
