I have worked in forensics for years and can think of many cadavers that have radically changed the rules of crimescene investigations. Have you ever ready about a place in Nashville called "the body farm"? This place takes cadavers that were donated to science... and places them in real crime scene situtations ... studying how the body decomposes. I've been there and it's absolutely fascinating... and I can honestly say that this kind of research has solved a lot of crimes. There are many ways bodies are used in the pursuit of science... it's not always just medical.
