Traveling at high wARP on 20 Jun 96, we intercepted this very special 
bulletin from Michiel Willems wich was intended for All. Here's the full 
story about Problems with SFM 288 and GPFax.
 MW> I have a problem with my SupraFaxModem 28k8 (rom 1.440-09, rev4) and
 MW> GPFax v2.342 Supra 27.7.93 for the Amiga.
 MW> When I start GPFax, it CAN'T find the modem. It keeps saying 'Where is
 MW> the modem?'. I have EVERYTHING installed correctly.
 MW> This happened AFTER I put the latest Flashrom in my SupraFaxmodem. It
 MW> worked like a charm before the upgrade!!
Additional notes:
Receving faxes should be OK, (when starting GPfax without opening the serial 
port, and let GPfax come up via a script started from a FidoNet 
mailer/frontend)
This problem also occures with the latest NON-Beta ROM image ! (as found on 
Supra's FTP site)
