Somebody sure is!  The only part LG got right was the part about 1024
cylinders - but even there you need to realize that it 1024 LOGICAL
cylinders.  From experience, the BIOS mapping (which is what
BootManager uses to FIND the boot code for whatever partition your
gonna boot) has to macth the mapping which OS/2 sees when it takes over
from int13.  You gotta be REALLY good to figure any way to swap maps in
mid-stream!  Regardless of whether you use LARGE, LBA, or NORMAL
mapping, OS/2 has to see the same, period.  FYI, I was unable to get
BootManager to work with anything but the first (C:) partition without
some form of mapping in BIOS, even if OS/2 was happy to use the disk
once you got booted - which I couldn't do from that disk.

That's reasonably recent.  I have several around from '93 on up and
there must be 4 or 5 different mappings, depending on the release date
(and OEM).
