subject: AUDIO BALLOTS FOR THE BLI

In a message Mike Freeman typed to Harvey Heagy

I don't know if they will or not, but if they do then there should be some
things there for us or for anyone for that matter.
For instance a help mode wherein we can get accustomed to the machine and how
the buttons are lined up without it actually casting the ballot.
Also, I would think that a read back function would be nice. I usually have
to use a commissioner to vote and most of the time, I get them to read back
to me my selections because once you hit the "cast ballot," button that's the
end of the voting whether you made a mistake or not.
I had a friend who thought you had to hit that button after every selection
so she hit it after voting for the President. Needless to say she was
surprised to find out that she was finished voting whether she wanted to be
or not.
