If You wish to ask for help here with a Fox Programming problem,
please give us the following information:
1. The version number of the Microsoft Fox product that you
are using. This can be obtained by typing ?VERSION(1) in
the Command window for FoxPro or at the dot prompt in
FoxBASE+ (2.0, 2.5b, 2.6A, etc).
2. The type of hardware you are using, including network
hardware if applicable; and the operating environment
& version that you are using (DOS, Mac, UNIX or Windows).
3. The contents of the following files: CONFIG.FP or
CONFIG.FPW, CONFIG.SYS, AUTOEXEC.BAT, and any network
configuration files.
4. The exact wording of any messages that appeared on your
screen.
5. A description of what happened and what you were doing
when the problem occurred.
6. How can we reproduce the problem using the smallest number of
steps?
7. What steps have you already taken to solve the problem?
This will help to make the answers You get more certain to correct
Your special situation - the first time around.
