If the rangers DON'T sign Pudge to a good contract, they have problems!
pudge leads the league, and as young as he is they can get many many
good years out of him, he can hit as well as catch, and from what i have
seen in the locker room, he has one thing the rangers really need....
leadership and respect of the other players
He and juan are the backbone of the ranger organazition
and i feel that if either leaves, free agency or whatever due to the
managment not wanting to meet his/their contract prices will severly
damage the ability of the rangers to perform at the level that they are
capable of
