Agreed, but what makes the DateTime type nice is that it makes it REALLY easy 
to
do what I would consider "advanced" date/time math without going through a 
ot
of contortions.  Getting 30 days from now, etc is still really easy with it, 
but
it allows you to do a lot of other things, too.  That is what I was really
getting at.....
