From: "Frank Haber" TweakXP (and 1.33 on Win 2000) are only semi-permanent. Each WinUpdate reboot, indeed most executions of the Windows Installer (to look for installed components) seem to reset some flag, and you have to log on next time. Of course you don't know this until you actually reboot a second time, which is a mild PITA, but so it goes. Also, I don't see the behavior Rich cited in XP Home. If the Administrator account (visible only in Safe Mode in Home) is account one, and the peculiar "Guest" of simple file sharing is account two, and your account is account three, you don't automatically get autologin from XP, just because you've left the password blank. You have to use TweakXP. --- BBBS/NT v4.01 Flag-4* Origin: Barktopia BBS Site http://HarborWebs.com:8081 (1:379/1.45) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 379/1 633/267 |
