Jeremy Mayfield piloting the No. 19 Evernham Dodge posted the hottest lap
during final practice for Nextel Cup teams at Texas Motor Speedway. The lap
of 186.483 mph surpassed the time of Dave Blaney who scored the second best
time with a 186.188 mph.

"We'll work on the setup tomorrow and get ready for a good race on Sunday,"
said Mayfield.
