CS>> Anyone know of a utility that will compare two files (the CS>> original plus the Hacker version) and create a patch file? then CS>> it CAN be put on aminet :) PD> Part of the SAS C compiler distribution (Spatch) does exactly that. I PD> don't have SAS C myself - anyone wanna put their hands up??? DC> Sorry, I've come in midway.. what do you need done? What is the DC> original, and the hacker version, and who is going to send 'em DC> to me? ;-) I'm just pointing out one I know exists, but a freely distributable one has been mentioned. Basically the enquirer was after a program to generate patches to executables so that a commercial program and a hacked commercial program could be compared, and the patch released for public distribution (so only people with the original exe can use it). So, I sorta came in midway myself, sorry if you're more confused :-) Mea Culpa, Peter Deane --- Plutonic 2.15 #1* Origin: Inquestor.
