I would find this easier to believe if this had happen in those areas that
have tried voucher programs. Near as I can tell from news coverage little,
if any, secular private schools have come into existence -- though the
religious schools have been able to expand.

Actually, this is something I'd very much like to do, and this is not too
much on the back-burner. --But my health (Fibromyalgia) is limiting from
many activities right now.
(I can only be vertical; e.g., stand/sit about an hour or two each day. I
*really* need a vacation, but I can't even drive around Palm Springs before
the spasms start, much less go for a long trip or sit on a plane. My trip
a week or two ago to San Francisco PAINFULLY reminded me of this.)
