Chuckle.  Here we go again.  Seems many of the topics here get
recycled again and again.
I am sure that some of the people involved in the last one will
be happy to share the answers, or lack of them.
But, for my two cents, it is legal in a number of states for
the FIRE department to commandeer people or equipment, (ie cars, 
trucks, etc) in the event of a forest fire.  Not sure if it would
hold up in court now a days, but it is on the books.
