Hi Errol,

ES> Yeah, I know, he's been working on the new outfit for Epic for about
ES>12 months (literally). I hassle him about it occasionally, he always
 ES>says 'soon, soon!' (-:

Shee-it! Has it been that long? Well, it should be out 'soon, soon!'.. I hope.

ES> Agreed, the main thing is that there arent many coders left (well
ES>decent ones anyway). And the ones that are tend to be fairly lazy (me
 ES>for example (: ).

That makes two of us :) Though I'm trying to give myself goals to achieve
(that's why the big list last time). It seems to be
working... (NOT! ))

ES> I wish it was a bit more interactive, I'm happy to teach any wannabe
ES>coder stuff that I already know, but its hard to find them!

Hmm... what happened to Logic? I haven't heard from him for a while... what
about Shades? does he have a modem?

I just had a idea too... I'd like to add a Census of Aussie sceners to
Cerebus... and put them into groups (ie: here are the coders of O, here are
the GFX dudes, etc) and put addys with them (with their permission ofcoz)

ES>Speaking of using your pc, all your text is formatted all over the
ES>place! Every line of yours seems to start half way across the screen!
ES>It was a real bitch to reformat it all so I could quote it properly!

Haha... guess that will teach you! :) I still don't know why that
happened... but not much I could do about it... once the message was sent,
the IBM crashed... and by the time I got it back online WOW had logged me
off... and I tried deleting the newly sent f*ck up message, but apparently
you can`t delete from the Fido net areas... ah well.

ES> You sound very busy (: The line routine isnt too hard, its just making

I try :)

ES> What's your music player like? I'll be doing a simple MOD type player

Hmm, I was talking more on the lines of a music player player... ie: Cruze
asked me to do a music disk with some tunes by a guy called
"Racer-X" (left tha scene)...

Though the idea to do a music player (a real one that is :) has occured to
me... I've been trying to use the JCH editor/player and I'm finding that it
doesn't have exactly what I want from a
sound-routine... (just call me fussy :).

If you need any help writing a player, i can give it to you as I've looked
at the DMC player up close, and know pretty much how the JCH player works
too...

ES>sounds as well, but I'm pretty ignorant about how players work (: Let
ES>us know how that 64net thing comes along, I'd just love to use my 60meg
ES>hard drive on my old at for the 64 (:

It's coming along fine... I've just been promoted to an official 64net Beta
tester, so I can tell you exactly what's happening as it happens... at the
moment I'm waiting to see what Paul Gardner-Stephen thinks of my recoded
wedge.

ES> Good idea, there are virtually no oz mags anymore since Vandalism went
ES>100% euro, & TSR died (taking the Link with it). Me & Witty
(ie Menace)

Agreed, though I never really liked Vandalism that much. Didn't really keep
me interested...

ES>have done a little one file mag called 'Outburst' which may expand
ES>later, but is just a bit of fun for the moment.

Should be interesting to see, what sort of stuff will you have in it?

There's more in the next message...

Tarragon.
