LP>> is wrong with this picture? I have a dispute with the woman

DJ> Yep, competence is often seen as a threat. This is exactly why
I guess! I'd like to think I'm competant.
Awhile back, when she was still speaking to me, I was expressing to her
my unhappiness about the school's not having a phone number for the
parent of an 8 months pregnant special ed student & her response to me
was, "You need to let me and the other administrators worry about taking
classes & keeping up with the legal issues. Gee, Leona, the way you
worry about details, you should think about getting your administrator's
certificate." (Gee, it's news to me & such a relief that she can accept
liability for possible litigation toward me.)
It wiped the smile off her face when I replied very earnestly, "Why,
thank you, I take that as a compliment. I'm already 70% done with my
degree in Administration."
DJ> tenure is so important. Don't know why some have such a hard
DJ> time understanding this. Hope things go well.
Exactly. A union rep warned me that she is vindictive & has a long
memory.
DJ> I have had a similar experience over the past few years. I would
It's really depressing, isn't it? My doctor wanted to put me on Prozac
because the whole idea of having to go to school was giving me panic
attacks & depression. How did you get past it? Or did you? Or did
your problem just go away with the principal?
DJ> point out that this type of administrator usually self destructs
DJ> given 3 or 4 years. Sooner or later the autocratic blunders come
DJ> home to roost and the nest is lined with briars and thorns .
Like I said to Carl, I think this woman may be some lucky teacher's
lottery ticket. There's a judgment a comin', the court kind, & I think
it's gonna be a big one. It's only a matter of time.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to teaching classes of no more than
6 adults at a time, having access to the exact equipment that I need,
being able to specify & receive the materials I want to use, being
given the assistance of office staff to do much of my secretarial work,
being repaid my expenses, getting to travel, getting a nice chunk of
change for it & being treated with the respect & dignity reserved for
professionals instead of the contempt & derision of a moronic flunky.
Now it's back to my slideshow file.

... I'm disgruntled and I've got a gun. Is the Post Office hiring?
