Looks like some dumb ass did a rescan on the JH> backbone! JH> Ed Yeah, I'll say... The other day my screen wouldn't unblank when I got home from work, no response in any other way either, so I had to reset. Logs showed that things came to an abrupt stop in the middle of transferring a whole *mess* of incoming files. And when I tossed the stuff that had come in (which the system didn't do) I got well over 4000 messages, far in excess of the usual traffic. And I ended up throwing most of it out, once I realized what had happened. ---* Origin: TANSTAAFL BBS 717-838-8539 (1:270/615) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 270/615 150/220 379/1 106/1 2000 633/267 |
